SeaLink NT will be running special services for NTFL Premier League games being played at Wurrumiyanga Oval on Bathurst Island this season.
Locals say that football is a religion on the Tiwi Islands and with 900 participants from a population of 2600, the Tiwi Islands has the highest participation rate in Australia with 35%.
The Tiwi Bombers joined the NTFL Premier League in 2006, the first all-indigenous team to play in a major competition.

Saturday 14th December – Tiwi Bombers vs Wanderers @ Wurrumiyanga Oval
Saturday 11th January– Tiwi Bombers vs Waratahs @ Wurrumiyanga Oval
Ferry Departs Cullen Bay at 10:00am, arrive Wurrumiyanga 12:30pm. All games start at 1:30pm. Depart Wurrumiyanga at 4:00pm, arrive Cullen Bay 6:30pm.
